Senior Accountant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Brighton, East Sussex, United Kingdom. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing a premium support accounts service, pro-actively assisting in the maintenance of current client relationships, and conducting accounts work, including preparing accounts, business tax returns, self-assessments, and VAT returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high-quality accounts service to clients
  • Assist in the maintenance of client relationships
  • Prepare financial accounts, tax returns, and other financial documents
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small team
Requirements:
  • ACCA, ACA full or part qualified, or at least 2 years of experience in a relevant accounts role
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience preparing financial accounts, ideally within an Accountancy Practice
  • Knowledge of various software packages
  • Ambitious, curious, and passionate about accounting with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Organised, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
