Early Careers Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Careers Development Specialist to join our team at Together. As a key member of our talent acquisition and development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our early careers initiatives and elevating our talent pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scout Talent: Identify and recruit top talent through careers events, social media, and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Build Bridges: Foster strong relationships with schools, colleges, and universities to create a robust talent pipeline.
  • Get Creative: Collaborate with our marketing team to produce engaging content showcasing early career opportunities.
  • Streamline Recruitment: Facilitate top-notch recruitment processes for our apprenticeship programme.
  • Enhance Experiences: Ensure candidates have a positive journey from application to onboarding.
  • Design Programmes: Create a work experience programme tailored to meet our business needs.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of industry trends to drive innovative initiatives enhancing our brand presence.
  • Craft Learning Journeys: Support the development of learning programmes for apprentices and work experience programme participants.
  • Kick-off Success: Facilitate orientation sessions and ongoing training to help early career hires thrive.
  • Coach and Inspire: Conduct one-on-one coaching and group workshops to promote professional growth and identify suitable mentors across the business as and when required.
  • Monitor Impact: Evaluate the effectiveness of our apprenticeship and work experience programmes, using feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Insight Generation: Produce insightful reports on early careers activities to track trends and market challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the early careers landscape, apprenticeship frameworks, and work experience initiatives.
  • Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills to engage diverse groups.
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A growth mindset and a passion for developing talent.
