Job Title: Management Accountant

Join RPS Group, a leading global provider of consulting and engineering services, as a Management Accountant. In this role, you will provide financial support to the Divisional support accountant, wider Finance team, and local Operational Directors & Managers to ensure the financial health of the division is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and analyze month-end management accounts for accountability centers within the Operating Unit.
  2. Review overheads and prepare and input accruals, prepayments, and other ad hoc journals.
  3. Reconcile various P&L/Project control accounts (e.g., timecard clearing, contract status report) and investigate and correct anomalies.
  4. Assist the Divisional Support accountant, Finance Business Partner with ad hoc reports and special projects.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in Management Accounting and reporting month-end cycle.
  2. Previous experience of Oracle system.
  3. AAT qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
  4. Intermediate/Advanced Excel and Report creating skills.
