Naval Architect/Senior Naval Architect Role

We are seeking a skilled Naval Architect/Senior Naval Architect to join our Oceangoing Vessels Team in Portsmouth. Our client is a leading engineering consultancy with a strong focus on innovative solutions in Naval Architecture, Fluid Dynamics, and Advanced Materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design the structural integration of wind-assisted propulsion systems on new and existing oceangoing vessels, ensuring safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with shipyards, classification societies, and other stakeholders, providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess and validate structural designs in line with industry standards and engineering best practices.
