Locum Planning Lawyer Opportunity

Venn Group is currently seeking a skilled Locum Planning Lawyer to join a well-regarded Local Authority in the South of England. This is a fully remote position, offering complete flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and negotiate Section 106 agreements to ensure compliance with planning regulations.
  • Provide expert legal advice on planning applications and appeals, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.
  • Offer general planning law advice to the council and stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality legal services, leveraging expertise and knowledge to drive success.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with significant experience in planning law, demonstrating a deep understanding of planning regulations and procedures.
  • Proven track record of handling Section 106 agreements, planning applications, appeals, and highways matters, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, utilizing technology and communication skills to stay connected with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, building trust and rapport.
