About the Role:

DP World is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Specialist to join our team in Coventry. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the maintenance of our automated warehouse equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the leadership of the system maintenance engineering team and provide expert guidance to engineers.
  2. Complete manufacturing/production line tasks as requested and record/report activities in appropriate databases.
  3. Accountable for the performance of automated warehouse equipment, including AMR, ASRS, and sorters.
  4. Work closely with engineering team management, launch, and operational teams to develop new solutions.
  5. Ensure all planned Preventative Maintenance schedules are completed within agreed timescales.
  6. Support the presentation of technical improvements to customers through proposals and presentations.
  7. Act as an interface between regional functions and other areas of the business.
  8. Contribute to the development and implementation of regional and local initiatives.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in senior maintenance engineering roles supporting and leading staff across multiple shift patterns.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and empathize with clients' viewpoints.
  3. Highly developed computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project Management software.
  4. Proficient in using AutoCAD to design functional workings of solutions.
