Oliver James Associates Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Risk Transfer Consultant to join their dedicated Risk Transfer team. As a part-qualified actuarial trainee, you will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of client accounts in managing their risks as part of a dedicated de-risking team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting clients in managing their risks and providing high-quality advice on de-risking strategies and transactions.
- Working closely with Trustee Boards and Sponsoring Employers to provide expert advice on risk management.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of de-risking strategies and transactions.
- Making progress with actuarial exams and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements
- Part-qualified actuarial status with experience in either a pensions or insurance context.
- Experience in risk transfer or a keen interest in developing in this area of the market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
