Job Overview

TM Green Group is seeking a seasoned Health and Safety Manager to lead our construction projects in Wrexham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to site teams on all health and safety matters, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks to site staff and subcontractors to enhance their knowledge and skills in health and safety.
  • Maintain and update health and safety management systems and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaise with site management and project teams to integrate health and safety into all project planning and operations.
  • Report on health and safety performance to senior management and recommend improvements to enhance our safety standards.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations and write detailed reports.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
