This role will focus on the spirits sector and involve a mix of new business and account management in the Southwest, requiring regular travel.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing new opportunities in the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of customers worth £4,000,000 - £5,000,000 and achieve sales targets of £250,000 - £500,000.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow existing business and identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and requirements.
  • Conduct weekly reports on customer visits, pipeline, and sales projections.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental targets and exceed sales budgets.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in packaging and the spirits market.
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving sales targets, with a strategic approach and consultative mindset.
  • Excellent understanding of the UK market and ability to develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong customer service and business relationship skills.
  • High interest in the technical dimension of packaging products.
