This role involves providing a thorough primary care physical health service, primarily focusing on primary care as part of a holistic healthcare approach that encompasses physical health, mental well-being, and substance misuse support.
Key Responsibilities
The individual will be instrumental in the provision of an expert integrated healthcare service. Responsibilities include:
- Offering guidance to medical professionals and allied health staff.
- Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive health care tailored to the needs of the prison population, following a primary care model.
- Conducting assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality, evidence-based care within the defined scope of practice.
- Monitoring chronic conditions, promoting health initiatives, and responding effectively to medical emergencies.

- Registered Nurse with First Level qualification.
