The Opportunity

We're seeking a Trainee Solicitor to join our Disputes team, undertaking the Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE) route to qualification. As a Trainee Solicitor, you'll play a critical role in assisting our growing number of clients with a diverse range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract, director and shareholder disputes, debt recovery, IP infringement, negligence, employment, construction, and leasing disputes.

You'll receive comprehensive formal and on-the-job training focused on technical legal knowledge, matter management, and client service, to equip you with a strong understanding of the legal needs of our commercial clients and meet the requirements of your Qualifying Work Experience (QWE).

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing oral and written advice to clients on a broad range of dispute matters.
  • Advising clients on director and shareholder disputes, breach of contract claims, and IP infringement.
  • Preparing cease and desist letters, letters of claim, and settlement agreements.
  • Conducting legal research and participating in role plays to improve client service skills.

  • Eligible: You are a SQE qualification pathway candidate and have successfully completed your SQE1 assessment.
