Business Development Director

General Manager
T2M Resourcing is working closely with a Facilities Management business to help them recruit a new General Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the business's operations and customer interactions, with the goal of stepping into the Managing Director's shoes as they transition out of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure business profitability through effective financial management and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee and maintain high levels of service delivery, taking a proactive approach to visiting clients to ensure they are satisfied with service delivery.
- Drive growth and development of existing contracts and portfolio through strategic planning and execution.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors and their performance as required.
Requirements for Success
- Proven experience of running a business or division with full P&L responsibility.
- Relevant industry experience essential, with a background in reactive FM/M&E type businesses.
- Experience in both operational and commercial management.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
- Able to adapt and respond to changing business environments.
