Job Summary
The Payroll Tax Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payroll tax data and implementing process improvements to prevent errors in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify payroll tax data for accuracy and completeness
- Develop and implement process improvements to prevent errors
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to ensure seamless data flow
- Stay up-to-date with HMRC tax rates and their impact on staff
- Review and update payroll information to ensure compliance
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HMRC tax rates and their effects on staff, as well as excellent attention to detail to identify errors quickly. Previous experience in a similar role dealing with employment tax and BIK (benefit in kind) is highly desirable.
What We Offer
The Payroll Tax Specialist will be paid £450 PAYE/£550 umbrella per day and will have the opportunity to work with a large public sector body. The contract will be for an initial 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension.
