Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Support Officer to join our Wheelchair and Orthotics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting therapists and assistants in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This will involve arranging for wheelchair and orthotics equipment to be sent to or collected by patients, updating patient records, and performing various administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work closely with multiple departments and external agencies to share information and coordinate services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient equipment and orders.
  • Unpack and handle deliveries of orthotics and wheelchair equipment, including assembly of wheelchairs.
  • Raise orders for wheelchair and orthotics equipment and monitor these orders.
  • Contact patients to arrange delivery of equipment or cancel appointments, requiring excellent verbal communication skills.
