Young Giants Ltd is seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to support learners in Cirencester. As a managed education service, we prioritize the academic development of our learners and provide a holistic and inclusive tuition and mentoring service.
About the RoleWe are looking for a qualified SEN Tutor who can commit to a fixed termly timetable and provide one-to-one tuition to learners with special and additional educational needs. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of delivering tuition to young people with SEN, including ASD/ASC, ADHD, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver one-to-one tuition to learners with SEN in a learner's home or venue within the community
- Work closely with our team to assess and maintain effective and needs-based programmes of education support
- Commit to a fixed termly timetable and provide consistent support to our learners
- Travel to the Cirencester location and participate in our collaborative approach to education
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree or strong youth work experience/qualification
- Minimum 2 years teaching or mentoring learners with SEND in schools, youth groups, or private settings
- Enhanced DBS on the DBS Update system or willingness to have one carried out at a cost of £53.20
- Secure understanding of safeguarding
We offer a competitive rate of £7 travel contribution per visit to a learner's location and a collaborative work environment that prioritizes the academic development of our learners.
