About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist in Care of the Elderly, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality subspecialty care to the elderly population of Mid Cheshire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake independent outpatient clinics, utilizing clinical decision-making skills to develop appropriate management plans for patients.
  • Perform subspecialty sessions unsupervised, demonstrating expertise in Care of the Elderly.
  • Work autonomously, seeking help when necessary, and adhering to the generic capabilities framework for the Specialist grade.

Person Specification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification.
