Our extensive Non-Mechanical division specializes in the rental of various equipment, including crowd control barriers, scaffolding, and road plates, catering to the events sector as well as traditional construction, utilities, and infrastructure markets.
The HGV Driver's responsibilities include loading, transporting, and retrieving equipment from client locations efficiently and professionally. It is essential to drive safely and responsibly, adhering to all legal requirements. While on-site, the driver may also be required to demonstrate the use of rental equipment and must ensure that all necessary checks and documentation related to the hire process are completed accurately.
Ideal Candidates for the HGV Driver Role Should Possess:
- Extensive experience in an HGV driving capacity, particularly in loading, delivering, and collecting equipment from various sites.
- A valid Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC with at least 35 hours completed, and a current Digital Tachograph card.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations and the ability to implement these protocols in the workplace.
- Exceptional customer service abilities and a keen attention to detail.
