Job SummaryWe are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our Adult Community Education team as Sessional Tutors. As a Sessional Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality adult learning sessions, working with a diverse range of students and subjects.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver adult learning sessions on various subjects, including Performing Arts, ESOL, Maths, English, and more.
- Work with students to identify their learning needs and goals, and develop tailored learning plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement new learning programs and initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to students, including those with learning difficulties or disabilities.
- Hold a subject-specific qualification in your chosen field and an appropriate teaching qualification or be prepared to achieve one within your first year of service.
- Have a sound knowledge base within your chosen specialist area and be able to demonstrate an ability to work well with people.
- Be able to travel to any of our 3 centres within the borough.
