We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product/Application Support Engineer to join our Refrigeration Team at Thomas Lee Recruitment. This role offers a unique opportunity to become a technical authority within our company and play a key role in supporting our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product commissioning, diagnostics, and system optimization for refrigeration, heat pumps, and compressor systems.
  • Undertake site visits to support sales, marketing, and customer needs.
  • Provide technical support for variable speed drives (VFDs) used in refrigeration, heat pumps, compressors, and HVAC-R applications.
  • Select the right VFDs for customers based on their compressor data sheets.
  • Develop and deliver training on compressor applications to colleagues and partners.
  • Collaborate with the development and production teams to ensure our VFDs meet market requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and technical documentation.
  • Support the branded label process for our products.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in compressor systems (refrigeration, heat pumps, etc.).
  • A solid understanding of electricity (willingness to learn more is a plus).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach.
