A leading recruitment agency, Harrison Scott Associates, is seeking a skilled Production Manager to join their team. This behind-the-scenes role will be responsible for overseeing the organization and administration of the workflow between departments.
This is a key position, taking responsibility for the coordination and control of production processes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products.
Main Responsibilities- Process customer orders, including specification, production methods, artwork requirements, production scheduling, and pricing for future work and work in progress.
- Create detailed production information in the required format and to the specifications of the production department.
- Liaise with production staff throughout the entire process, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Liaise with Dispatch and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and collection of work, to and from the supplier.
- Obtain delivery information and delivery instructions from customers.
- Liaise with Dispatch by providing a daily delivery requirement list for outwork and customer deliveries, and through ongoing daily contact.
- Organize the production of mock-ups and obtaining of samples as requested by customers.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess a good technical understanding of print production processes. They should be an organized individual, able to quickly understand detailed instructions and communicate this information in a clear, concise, and unambiguous way. They should also be proactive and prepared to challenge information that does not meet customer requirements.
