Quarriers East Dunbartonshire ED1 Service is currently recruiting part-time Support Workers to join the team who provide support to adults in their own homes, homes they live in with family, and out and about in the local community.

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities or complex brain injuries, enabling them to live fuller, happier lives. Your duties will be varied, and no two days will be the same, allowing you the opportunity to learn and develop while supporting people to achieve their goals.

The service provides 1-2-1 support, and it's essential you have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with others. Some of the day-to-day duties will include person care, household chores, and assisting individuals to participate in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing, such as watching football, drama, musical evenings, gardening at the allotment, shopping and banking trips, and social occasions.

Working Pattern: We are offering part-time permanent contracts with a flexible working pattern, requiring you to work between 20-30 hours per week. Shifts will vary, and you will need to be flexible to support people during the times they need. Rota's are planned approximately 4-6 weeks in advance.
