Sales Team Lead

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Team Manager to lead and manage a team of sales advisers in achieving departmental and team Key Performance Indicators. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting targets, providing coaching and monitoring individual and team performance to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the behaviour and attitude of sales advisers to ensure they are motivated and focused.
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-to-one meetings and performance reviews to monitor sales adviser performance.
- Mentor sales advisers to attain sales targets by providing regular feedback and setting relevant targets and objectives.
- Identify training needs of sales advisers and create development plans and solutions.
- Recruit, train and induct new sales advisers into the department.
- Deliver coaching and training to sales advisers on new processes, practices and system developments.
- Manage complaint handling process within the team and deal with escalated adviser queries and referrals.
- Proactively look to improve work practices and management practices to maximise team performance and sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Telesales or call centre experience.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Employed with Bupa for a minimum of 6 months with performance standards and targets met during that period (internal only).
- Positive attitude and self-motivation.
- Strong relationship management skills and ability to build networks of internal and external contacts.
- Able to make important decisions within agreed parameters and day-to-day decisions without referral.
