Infrastructure Engineer | Competitive Salary

At BurnsSheehan, we are collaborating with a pioneering organization in the Environmental Sustainability sector seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support their ongoing Digital Transformation initiative.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, your primary focus will be on ensuring the seamless operation, installation, and configuration of various systems. You will also play a crucial role in recommending necessary software and hardware enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of IT Infrastructure, enhancing and supporting critical functional areas, particularly server and local onsite infrastructure.
  • Evaluate IT service performance, availability, and capacity.
  • Measure data center capacity and provide regular reports on availability.
  • Develop and document disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
  • Utilize technical support principles to deliver top-tier technical assistance.
  • Assist in reviewing system architecture and suggest improvements aligned with Service Delivery.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to propose suitable IT solutions in response to evolving business and project risks.
  • Experience in Azure administration.
  • Proficiency in scripting, patching, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with SCCM and endpoint protection.
  • Experience with Office 365 migrations, including emails, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Understanding of Data Centers (DCs) and Hyper-V.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktops.
  • Experience with Office 365 monitoring tools.
