About the Role:

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Reserves Officer (North Hampshire). This role is responsible for the habitat management of five MoD sites in the northeast of the County and the nationally important Greywell Moors near Hook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Countryside Stewardship Scheme and other work plan objectives, working with fellow staff, volunteers, contractors, project partners, and the grazing team to implement habitat management activities.
  • Maintain reserve infrastructure and gather ecological data through working with partners and carrying out surveying when required.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Nature Recovery Manager (North Hampshire) and the North Hampshire Area Team to achieve conservation goals.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of habitat management and conservation practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
