About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled P&C Underwriter to join our dynamic team at Chubb. As a key member of our Commercial Master Package team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service to our underwriters and brokers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite and process renewal mono property and package business up to $250,000 in line with our underwriting appetite, authority limits, and business plan.
  • Liaise with and participate in meetings with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders, face-to-face and virtually.
  • Navigate our Global Network in the placement of multinational programmes.
  • Meet company standards in respect of policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business, and compliance issues.
  • Work within the framework of the Chubb Code of Conduct, Compliance policies, Peer Review, and within the framework of the protocols established by the Company.
  • Develop your Property & Casualty knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a practical and common-sense approach to dealing with differing situations and an ability to tackle problems often against tight timeframes.
  • Have an interest in multinational programs.
  • Hold a minimum A-level standard.
  • Be competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Be willing to undertake on-the-job training, which may involve working in other Chubb offices.
  • Be keen to embark on or working towards CII qualifications.
