Position Overview:
The role of the Analytical Laboratory Technician is a permanent position located at our facility. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with both the laboratory and production teams to facilitate all analyses related to the manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analyses of samples pertaining to biological processes, raw materials, bulk deliveries, cleaning-in-place (CIP) samples, water systems, and finished products, adhering to GLP, GMP, health and safety standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with laboratory personnel and process operators to ensure the seamless operation of our processes, meeting established deadlines and KPIs.
- Analyze and report data and trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Review documentation, including SOPs, risk assessments, and COSHH, to ensure compliance and safe operational practices.
- Maintain accurate and organized data records in accordance with company protocols.
- Exhibit attention to detail and uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the laboratory.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all laboratory instruments.
- Manage chemical and consumable inventory within the laboratory.
- Demonstrate behaviors that reflect our company values.
Qualifications:
- A solid scientific background with relevant experience in an analytical laboratory or industrial fermentation/distillation setting.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer Analysis.
- Experience in method development and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team to uphold high performance standards related to GLP, GMP, quality, health and safety, and customer service.
- Capability to perform under pressure and deliver timely results.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience with microbiological techniques, including aseptic techniques and agar plating, is desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Hours:
- Week 1: 7am to 7pm, Monday to Wednesday
- Week 2: 7am to 7pm, Wednesday to Friday
