Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to support our business growth. As a Technical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in preparing detailed project costs and estimates, highlighting markups, and supporting the sales function in pre-order design meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed project costs and estimates, highlighting markups
  • Support the sales function in pre-order design meetings
  • Collate and prepare information for handover to the Design team(s)
  • Triage and liaise with customers to clearly identify suitable solutions

Requirements:

  • Experience working in Design and Estimating functions with the ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience in CAD software such as Inventor and Autocad (2D/3D drafting)
  • Working knowledge and application of Excel/Microsoft packages
  • Strong communication skills with a curious nature and the courage to challenge status-quo
