Manufacturing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team at Equation Recruitment. As a Production Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Main Responsibilities:- Prepare customer components for the coating process through automated cleaning and chemical processes.
- Manual masking and fixturing of components in preparation for coating.
- Finishing of customer parts by hand, hand tools, and automated machinery.
- Inspection of finished components, including visual and size checks.
- Adhere to manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Recommend improvements in plant, equipment, and techniques to support safe handling and completion of customer components.
- Encourage a continuous improvement philosophy throughout the factory.
- Work in a safe manner and support 5S systems as applicable.
- Technically minded with knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Good attention to detail.
- Familiarity working with/around machinery.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with/around chemicals.
- Understanding and compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Good team working and communication skills.
Successful candidates will receive full peer-to-peer training on processes and procedures, with opportunities for development and competence achievement.
