About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our North team based in Chippenham. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable children and families, from pre-birth to age 18, in a patch-based model. You will work closely with professionals and multi-agency teams to provide consistent support and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct enquiries and assessments to identify the needs and risks to vulnerable children and young people.
  • Develop and implement plans to address identified issues, working closely with the child, their family, and carers.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to plan and deliver coordinated services to children, young people, and their families.
  • Maintain accurate and effective electronic recording of information and action taken in the course of casework.
  • Contribute to team processes and make an active contribution to the development of service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
