Technical Lead for Structural Surveys and Designs

Wallace Hind Selection Limited is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to lead our design team in Northampton. As the technical lead, you will be responsible for creating calculation packs for our world-leading Crane and Hoist Systems and carrying out customer site survey visits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement structural survey and design strategies
  • Create detailed calculation packs and design 2D & 3D parts and assemblies using CAD systems (Tekla preferred)
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements:
  • Degree in Structural Engineering or related field
  • Proven track record of project delivery and technical expertise
  • Experience with CAD systems and calculation pack creation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
