About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at Hort's Townhouse, a vibrant and stylish boutique pub and hotel in the heart of the city. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to design and deliver new menus and daily specials.
  • Maintain effective controls on food costs and labour, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.
  • Drive sales and growth through engagement with the kitchen and front of house teams.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Chef de Partie or Commis Chef, with a passion for producing quality fresh food.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service through quality food.
  • Active hands-on approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
