About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Specialist to join our team at Linc-Cymru. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our tenants.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook meals for our tenants, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Source fresh ingredients and manage kitchen inventory to meet budget requirements.
- Work closely with the Chef and Service managers to develop and implement menus that cater to the needs and preferences of our tenants.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Support with menu planning, stock control, and other administrative tasks as required.
- NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation/Catering and Food Hygiene Level 2.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience in a similar setting, or informal experience feeding a large group of people.
