Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to lead our IT department and drive the company's technology strategy forward. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT operations, developing and implementing IT strategy, and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • IT Department Leadership
    • Manage and oversee the IT department and its operations
    • Develop and implement IT strategy and infrastructure
    • Ensure IT systems and processes are efficient and secure
  • Project Management
    • Manage IT projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget
  • Team Management
    • Provide leadership to the IT team and encourage their professional development
  • Technical Expertise
    • Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and innovations
    • Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Education
    • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience
    • Proven experience in managing an IT department in the retail industry (team of 3)
  • Technical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure: voice and data infrastructure, servers, enterprise applications, user applications, end-point devices, print management, and communication devices
    • Thorough understanding of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server and Client, Advanced Threat Protection, Azure/Entra Active Directory, SQL Server, SharePoint Online, Office 365, Business Intelligence, OneDrive
    • Sound understanding of networking and storage device technologies
    • Working knowledge of Citrix or other remote desktop technologies
    • Working knowledge of Virtual Server technology
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong project management and strategic planning abilities
    • Good understanding of IT regulations and standards
