Oldham Council is seeking highly skilled and compassionate social workers to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to children and families in our community.

About the Role:

We are looking for social workers who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families. As a social worker with Oldham Council, you will be responsible for assessing and intervening in cases of child protection and safeguarding, as well as working with children and families to provide support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to support children and families
  • Work closely with other professionals and agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to child protection and safeguarding
  • Provide support and guidance to children and families to help them achieve their goals and improve their outcomes
