Reception Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Reception Teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Lewisham. As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of your students, focusing on their individual learning targets and strengths.
  • Contribute to the creation of a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes positive relationships among students and staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to keep them informed about their child's progress and involve them in their educational journey.

Requirements:
