About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Business Development Engineer to join our team at Verto People. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global manufacturer of fluid handling components and fluid systems, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Covering the South East region, managing and developing an existing client base and also be able to bring on new profitable clients.
  • Selling fluid system components and solutions, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc.
  • New business development and account management.
  • Home based, with visits to the London office.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements
  • A mechanical engineering sales background with full product training being provided.
  • This position would suit a Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager or post graduate with a background in engineering sales (mechanical) with 2+ years technical sales experience, either internal or field based.
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree beneficial.
  • Experience selling fluid power / fluid systems, components and solutions, including valves, pumps, instrumentation, tube fittings, seals, regulators, hoses, etc would advantageous.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving License and willingness to cover the South East - ideally be based in West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire or Kent.
