Logistics Coordinator - French Speaking

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator - French Speaking to join our team at Ascendant Recruitment. As a Logistics Coordinator - French Speaking, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the operations team and the wider business, delivering an excellent service to our key customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively plan and monitor orders as per customer request, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Liaise with carriers to resolve any in-transit issues, maintaining effective communication across internal sites, external customers, and transport providers.
  • Report issues to the business effectively and resolve accordingly, ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Book collections/deliveries, manage special delivery arrangements, and returns, utilizing transport planning activities for warehouse movements.
  • Investigate, resolve, and manage customer queries, complaints, and issues, liaising with carriers and customers in line with compliance procedures.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in French and English, both written and oral.
  • A confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Organisational skills, including the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and IT skills, particularly in MS Office and Excel.
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team, with good knowledge of European Geography.
