Account Director

Our client, a leading industrial Micro Battery manufacturer, is seeking a seasoned Account Director to join their team. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing key business accounts and developing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of assigned business accounts to achieve sales targets, building strong relationships with key customers.
- Support the development of new business and revenue opportunities, identifying unique selling points and value creation.
- Report sales progress on a regular basis, with travel to HQ office as required.
- Collate market and customer information, providing feedback opportunities to management.
- Accept additional tasks or projects assigned by senior management.
- Proven experience as a key account manager within the B2B/Industrial sector.
- Ability to plan and prepare key account strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and IT competence, including Microsoft Excel.
- Full passport and UK driving licence for business travel.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken, to service key EU business accounts.
- Ability to present to varying audiences, including use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Intermediate level of computer literacy with MS Office.
- Sales experience across one or more EU countries.
- Experience working as a key account manager for a Japanese/Asian region-based technology organization.
