Overview: The successful candidate will possess a wealth of experience in architecting, executing, and overseeing solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform, which encompasses Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse. This position requires collaboration with clients to ascertain their operational requirements, converting these into functional specifications, and delivering exceptional solutions that enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to comprehend their operational workflows and requirements.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to collect and document functional specifications.
  • Convert business requirements into technical specifications and solution blueprints.
  • Design, configure, and deploy solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Create custom applications, workflows, and dashboards tailored to client specifications.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to industry best practices and standards.
  • Lead and manage comprehensive implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including developers, architects, and business analysts.
  • Provide updates on project status and manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Deliver training and support to end-users and administrators on Power Platform solutions.
  • Generate detailed documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest features and updates in Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Advise clients on best practices and strategies for ongoing improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in functional consulting with substantial expertise in Power Platform.
  • Demonstrated success in Power Platform implementations and projects.
  • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Additional familiarity with all components of Power Platform and their application in delivering business solutions.
  • Understanding of Power Platform ALM methodologies.
  • Knowledge of integration capabilities with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure, and M365).
  • Experience with Power Platform governance, security, administration, and compliance best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) is preferred.
  • Additional certifications in related technologies (e.g., Dynamics 365, Azure) are advantageous.

Essential Criteria:

Given that most clients are within the UK Public Sector and Defense, Security Clearance is mandatory. To qualify for Security Clearance, candidates must have resided and worked in the UK for a minimum of five years. If these criteria cannot be met, applications cannot be progressed.

This position is remote within the UK, with the option to visit offices across the UK as needed.
