Electrical Maintenance Technician Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at MKC Training in Chatham, Kent. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, and repair of electrical machinery and equipment used within our technical trade workshops, offices, and classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment and machinery
  • Conduct inspections and testing to ensure electrical systems are safe and functioning correctly
  • Install new electrical equipment and systems as required
  • Work with our technical teams to resolve electrical issues and ensure minimal downtime

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications such as C&G, NVQ, and 18th Edition IET Regulations
  • Experience working with AC/DC motors, generators, and control gear
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
