Lead Medical Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team as a Lead Medical Veterinary Surgeon at our Tier 3 small animal hospital in Dewsbury.

About the Role

As a Lead Medical Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding clinical and financial performance. You will work closely with the Surgical Lead to lead and manage a talented veterinary team, ensuring the highest quality care for pets and their owners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of veterinary surgeons to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve clinical and financial targets.
  • Work closely with the Surgical Lead to develop and implement clinical strategies and protocols.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior team members to ensure their professional development and growth.

Requirements
  • RCVS or equivalent veterinary qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a veterinary surgeon.
