We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team at Pathway Capital Management. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing private equity fund investment opportunities and monitoring client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough quantitative and qualitative reviews of fund investment opportunities across all asset classes.
- Meet with top-tier fund managers in buyout, venture capital, and other strategies to evaluate investment opportunities.
- Review financial statements of private equity partnerships, including portfolio company valuations and investment cash flows.
- Prepare detailed client reports and presentations to communicate investment recommendations.
- Assist with special reporting, research, and due diligence projects to support the investment process.
- Strong academic background in a relevant field, such as finance or economics.
- Up to two years of relevant analytical experience in private equity, investment banking, asset management, consulting, or similar fields.
- Strong interest in investments and the capital markets.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to add your own judgment to the investment process and work independently within broad guidelines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
