Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Strategist to join our Commercial Data Strategy team at Global. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering data-driven solutions and impactful insights to our clients and internal stakeholders across OOH and prOOH.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and drive Global's data story in market, across specialists and agencies.
  2. Work closely with senior stakeholders across a broad spectrum of Global's business as well as client exposure.
  3. Drive integration of data-led targeting into campaign planning across agency & specialist teams and develop strategies to increase use, revenue, and reputation of Global's data capabilities in market.
  4. Scope and lead data on-boarding opportunities with key clients.
  5. Upskill sales teams in data literacy to enable best-in-class use of data on daily basis.
  6. Work alongside Senior Data Strategist - Outdoor to understand and contend with headwinds in market pertaining to data uptake and usage.
  7. Ensure our data capabilities are compellingly articulated to clients in proposals and brief responses.
  8. Ensure data insight is of consistently high quality at every stage of process.
  9. Build strong alignment with colleagues across the Commercial Department so that data is used in the right way, at the right times, and to full effect.

Requirements

  1. Ability to translate complex datasets and products into simple, compelling, market-facing propositions.
  2. Experience presenting to, building relationships with, and influencing customer and/or internal stakeholders.
  3. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  4. Positive attitude especially when under pressure coupled with great time management.
  5. Proven stakeholder management.
  6. Good knowledge of the wider media landscape and how Outdoor fits in.
  7. Experience of working alongside technical, operational and sales team.
  8. Proven people management experience.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively with partners from multiple teams across all areas of the business.
  10. Understanding of systems such as Alteryx, Microsoft Office Suite, and Tableau/Qlik (optional but desired).
  11. Commercial nous.
