We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Team Member to join our team at Novotel London West. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our hotel's facilities and providing exceptional guest experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, execution, and maintenance of all engineering upgrades and repairs to ensure the hotel's facilities are always in good working order.
  • Conduct regular inspections and routine checks to identify and address any maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with company standards, legal requirements, and guest comfort.
  • Undertake maintenance and repair work to the hotel's fabric, including electrical, plumbing, fixtures, fittings, and general maintenance, to a high standard.
  • Record all jobs undertaken in the defect reporting system and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance work to all areas of the hotel, including bedroom, public areas, and plant rooms, and complete associated checklists.
  • Ensure the workshop area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of the hotel, including geographical layout, technical services, security devices, and safety routines.
  • Repair or replace furniture, fixtures, and fittings, and general appliances throughout the building, minimizing inconvenience to guests.
  • Plant room experience is advantageous but not required.
