Job Summary:

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve with minimal downtime to production while maintaining the highest quality of work.
  • Carry out diagnosis of faults, maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely, and professional manner and return equipment to operational service.
  • Carry out PPM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required.
  • Perform regular tests to new and existing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, both to spot potential problems and to ensure that systems are operating at their highest possible levels of functionality.
  • Repair Electrical Systems and act quickly to make on-the-spot repairs when electrical systems and machinery malfunction.

  • Ability to understand, fault find & maintain PLC systems.

Requirements:

  • Time served with relevant industry qualification in electrical/multi-skilled engineering.
  • Electrical bias, however multi-skilled is fine.
  • PLC experience is a huge bonus.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Package:

  • £52,282 per annum inclusive of shift allowance.
  • Continental shift pattern, one week working 60 hrs (5 12 hour shifts, 2 days break in between), the next week only working only 24 hours (2 12 hour shifts) on rotation.
  • Overtime available.
