Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to start their career in education by providing additional support to identified children in a Secondary School in the Swansea area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and young people to provide additional support and help them meet their educational targets
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with students, teachers, and other school staff
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery, and contribute to the development of educational programs
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs or learning difficulties
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective educational environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Education or a related field
  • Experience working with children and young people, either voluntarily or professionally
  • Confident and friendly personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to providing high-quality support and services to students and schools
