About the Role

Mitie Telecoms is a leading provider of acquisition, design, and construction (ADC) services, specialist managed services of temporary mobile infrastructure, and facilities maintenance for telecoms.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecommunications Acquisition Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the team to achieve and deliver Acquisition milestone targets as measured against client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage suppliers and lead a designated internal team to deliver all Acquisition milestones.
  • Ensure the team identifies sites with necessary legal, planning, and access rights to install new or upgraded radio equipment and accommodate 3rd party equipment requirements.
  • Negotiate consensual deals under the legislative backdrop of the New Telecommunication Code.
  • Provide clear instruction to project-specific delivery teams on required deliverables.
  • Forecast and manage delivery profiles, highlighting potential risks and mitigating as necessary.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in Telecommunication site acquisition.
  • Experience working within site acquisition teams for individual site providers and Multi-site Providers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and application of Property/Planning law in relation to telecommunications development.
  • Valid driving license with no more than 6 points.
