Are you a driven and enthusiastic HR professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our client's busy HR team in Newark.

This is a key role that will involve taking a lead role in delivering on key HR related projects, engaging with leaders and managers on a day-to-day basis, and researching and presenting options appraisals for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take a lead role in delivering on key HR related projects
  • Engage with leaders and managers on a day-to-day basis
  • Research and present options appraisals for consideration
  • Undertake risk assessments
  • Create and maintain project plans
  • Take an proactive approach when supporting managers to understand wider business objectives
  • Research and prepare reports on matters of HR and development related issues
  • Develop and implement an effective and comprehensive HR service
  • Actively work with service areas to identify and address learning/ development and employee engagement needs
  • Participate in grievance, disciplinary, capability and other employee related investigations
  • Monitor budgetary expenditure and authorize payments within budgets
  • Represent the organization externally in relation to all areas of responsibility
  • Take a business partnering approach to work with managers to deliver effective HR solutions
  • Review and update related policies
  • Act as coach and mentor to managers and employees
