Fleet Marketing Manager Job Description

Are you a marketing professional with a passion for the automotive industry? Do you have experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies for fleet operations? We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Marketing Manager to join our team at BYD Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a fleet marketing strategy to position BYD fleet in the right channels and events to maximize exposure leading to profitable sales growth.
  • Develop and implement a calendar of fleet-oriented events to ensure BYD fleet is positioned correctly with the UK fleet market.
  • Develop and implement a fleet paid media communications strategy, including specific fleet collateral materials to support the BYD fleet sales and retailer fleet sales functions.
  • Ensure BYD UK website content is aligned with fleet market needs and regularly updated with appropriate content.
  • Support the RV & Remarketing manager in the design, development, and implementation of point of sale (POS) and EPOS material for the promotion of the BYD Approved Used programme both physical and online.
  • Participate in fleet, used vehicle, residual value events, building relationships with key industry stakeholders to influence and align our marketing and communications to support fleet sales and maintain strong used vehicle RVs.
  • Collect and analyze market data, monitor marketing performance, and market feedback of competitor activity (that are in the public domain), prepare reports, and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of our marketing and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Possessing a degree-level education with a proven experience in marketing management at an OEM, leasing company, or agency of marketing services and solutions, with a solid knowledge of the market, regulations, and best practices.
  • Advanced project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and possess above-average decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strong attention for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, with the ability to conduct data analysis and report writing.
  • The ability to communicate and articulate complex subjects in simple language that everyone can understand.
  • Willingness to travel as required in the UK and further afield as required.
