Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at a leading recycling company based in the UK. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient processing of materials on site.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading vehicles and ships using heavy machinery such as 360° Material Handlers, Wheeled Loading Shovels, and Forklifts.
- Ensuring that materials arriving on site are processed safely and efficiently, adhering to company protocols and regulations.
- Conducting final inspections of dispatched materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Assisting in the scheduling of inward and outward transport, coordinating with drivers and contractors as needed.
- Liaising with customers, drivers, and contractors who visit the site, providing excellent communication and customer service.
- Prior experience operating 360° Material Handlers, Wheeled Loading Shovels, and Forklifts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and contractors.
- Able to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business.
